“ しかも外国人はウオッカのちゃんとした冷やし方を知らないというので、それも教えてくれた。まずソ連のウオッカじゃなくちゃいけない。冷凍庫（冷蔵庫じゃないよ）に入れ、次の日取り出し30分ほどしたら、また冷凍庫にしまう。これを3日繰り返す。4日目には瓶の外側がうっすらと霜がかぶったようになる。これをシューバшуба（毛皮の外套という意味）といい、こうなればもう飲み頃。リュームカに注ぐとトロっとしてオイルみたいだ。こういう話はロシア人それぞれに一家言あるらしい。
